We areย currentlyย accepting submissions for ourย June/July 2019 issue, in which authors will critically discuss technology as a force of globalization. Submissions with a focus on Nigeria and Africa are now welcome on any of the following topics:
โย Internet connectivity and digital divides;
โย Media and the globalization of misinformation;
โย Knowledge economies and digital governance;
โย Globalization, ICTs and [Female] Economic Empowerment;
โย Digital colonialism and technologies of globalization;
โย Cultures of cybercrime, 419 and ‘Yahoo-Yahoo’;
โย The impact of technology on global and regional value chains; and
โย Broader international affairs.
We are looking forย analytical and engaging essays, lectures, speeches, reading lists and book reviews that, without sacrificing analytical rigour, can serve as authoritative/definitive subject-matter guides to readers that may have limited knowledge on global issues.
We expect submissionsย in the range of 1,500 to 5,000 words and will be acceptingย first drafts untilย Sunday 19 May 2019.
Authors of accepted submissions to this issue will be paid at a competitive rate, and will receive a copy of the magazine issue in print.
